I love gardening, and as a little girl I watched my mom plant and grow a variety of different flowers, and shrubs in our little backyard in Philly and wondered why did she get so much Joy out of it, now I know. On this blog I will be documenting as well has taking photos and videos of our garden here in Virgina, I will be learning new things along the way, and would love to share with you some gardening tips that I've learned from my Mom, Hope you enjoy ! Autumn Mums bloomed too early, lol
We had these Autumn mums for 1 year now and we did not cut them back in the winter, so when the spring came they began to grow to its full height about 18 inches and they also started to bloom the beginning of July instead of the end of August or early September, never the less they are absolutely beautiful. We propagated about six more Mums and they should bloom in September. Autumn is my Mom's favorite season so I look forward to her Autumn landscaping ideals =)
Hibiscus are growing nice !
More pictures of my lovely hibiscus, I am so proud of how they are growing. They really are enjoying this hot hot hot weather.
Merry Christmas in July !
It was 107 degrees at the beach this weekend, and I was surrounded by beautiful Christmas trees, Christmas music, scenes of snowfalls and horse-riding sleighs...., Where might these sights be found you ask, at The Christmas Mouse of course. The Christmas Mouse is a beautiful store dedicated to the Christmas season.
It was one of the highlights of my trip, with the temperature in the hundreds outside it was so nice to walk into a store filled with the sights of Christmas =)
Merry Christmas in July
