Blueberry pancakes and blueberry muffins, oh yea !

Iceberg Lettuce

I got 4 Iceberg lettuce plants for only $1.77.
Growing healthy food is more affordable then buying it from the store.

Fast Germination

These String bean seeds germinated in only 5 days, I had to replant them earlier then I expected, WOW.

More Seeds =)

I went to Walmart and found this 36 cell seed starter kit with the dirt already in it for only $2. I also brought more flowering seeds and I hope they all do well.

My Little Garden Helpers =)

My partners in the yard =)

I think my niece and nephew enjoy gardening just as much as I do, and I love it =) Thanks for the help Khaya and Joey, you guys are awesome =)

Starting with Seeds

This year I decided to start most of my gardening off with seeds instead of plants. I will grow the seeds indoors for about 3 weeks, and then after germination I will sit them outside to continue to grow, then I will transplant them into the garden or a flowering pot once they've grown into a nice size plant. I hope they all grow, and if not I will be heading to Lowes for some well Established plants. Happy Gardening =)

Welcome Bees

Bees are a welcoming sight for those who have fruit trees, plants and flowers. These black and yellow pollinators play a very important role for a successful garden through pollination.

Pollination is the act of transferring pollen grains from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma. The goal of every living organism, including plants, is to create offspring for the next generation. One of the ways that plants can produce offspring is by making seeds. Seeds contain the genetic information to produce a new plant.

I was able to capture some pollination in action on our peach tree.
